Creative Artworker / Graphic Designer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Creative Artworker to join our growing team. You will have a critical role in the growth of the company by working with the marketing director to produce our annual print catalogue, regular flyers and mailers, POS ads, brochure ads, digital artwork and much more. Our company is a multichannel business and you will work from a creative brief and take it through to print. The role requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, an ability to work individually and as part of a team.

Your self-motivation will be in play every day as there will be the odd quiet spell, so you'll happily use your initiative during these times, always having something to do, whether that's coming up with ideas for developing process and structure, submitting new ideas for marketing material, researching competitors or improving the filing system.

Key responsibilities

  • Producing artwork according to design guidelines and finalising it for print.
  • Liaising with external agencies, freelancers and suppliers such as design agencies, image editors and print companies.
  • Liaising with colleagues to collect product data.

Skills required

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills. You will be required to work with large amounts of data for inputting or connecting with the design work.
  • Understanding of print production processes from initial design to submitting print ready artwork.
  • Knowledge of servers and file management.
  • Critical eye for detail.
  • Excellent writing skills in the English language.
  • Experience in working with 100+ page documents.
  • Experience or an interest in photography as you may be required to assist in product photography.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
