Glass clamps for stair balustrade

I am disappointed with these clamps which are designed specifically for holding an 8mm. glass panel in place.
The rubber inserts do not grip the glass resulting in the panel sliding. Not sure what the solution is but I need to come up with something as I have, understandably an unhappy client. Not fit for purpose

brackets not suitable for there purpose

i used the brackets with 10mm glass which they are suitable for , the glass panels are on a staircase , 6 panels in total , all the glass panels are sliding down inside the rubbers supplied with the brackets , very dissapointed in the product , i have emailed dc iron about the issue to which they have not replied ...

Parts purchased and delivered without any issues.

Good Quality

Searched online for replacement of existing cast chromed brackets and found these as suitable replacements. Haven't fitted them yet as replacing all the decking with Dino Decking and haven't got to the fitment yet.
Dimension wish they're perfect for 10mm safety glass.
